Penelope was very interested in my iPhone this evening while I was taking pictures of the flock. Was it because Odysseus kept trying to attack the phone or because of the sweet Conan the Barbarian Frazetta case the phone was in? Only Penelope knows for sure.

Athena was also interested in what I was doing but quickly got sidetracked with eating what she could before being put up for the night.

Odysseus, winding up to try & take a flying leap at the iPhone. I’ll be glad when he calms back down while in his run. He stopped jumping up onto my shoulder to attempt to mount my head, which is a nice change. He pecks really hard & as we all know, my brain doesn’t need anymore trauma. He did jump onto my shoulder while I was sitting on a bale of straw hay watching Nausicaä (she kinda seemed to be walking around a little differently than she normally does) & he didn’t act out at all. Just walked across from shoulder to shoulder, sat down for a bit, then hopped off to do his chicken thing. He hasn’t been this pleasant since the temps starting getting into the 70’s during the day. It was a nice change. Of course, the minute I stood up, he attacked my wellies. He just really hates those boots.

Progression of tonight’s sunset.

2 eggs today: a Calypso egg & what I think is either a Penelope egg or an Athena egg. It’s getting difficult to tell lately.
